Who are ‘7 Go End 2 End’?

We are just a group of guys who like to raise money for charity and happen to be able to ride bikes. We are named after our very first ‘Charity Challenge’, to go from John O’Groats to Lands End.

OUR 2008 CHALLENGE

John O’Groats to Lands End

Why we are doing it

We are riding to raise funds for Chapel Road School, Attleborough, Norfolk. The children that attend come as far away as Diss, Dereham, Wymondham, Thetford and many villages beyond. The school is a County School for children with special educational needs. It caters for pupils who have complex needs, in particular severe and profound learning difficulties, at the age from 3 to 19 years. Some of the children have physical handicaps as well. Two of our team have children at the school in Nick Cardy’s daughter Maddy and Dave Sismey’s son Lewis.

In 2008 the school would like to take the pupils to Euro Disney. Normally, funding only allows it to take some of the pupils. We want to make a difference and make dreams come true so that all the pupils experience Euro Disney. It is a wonderful school with fantastic staff and both Nick and Dave see this ride as giving a little something back. The rest of us are mad but we love the cause.
